Recently, a reader asked me to try to find an old issue for him. As I was going through some of the oldest of my back issues, I thought I’d share some photos of the covers. Nothing like a little nostalgia on the holidays. One taste of old times brings all to rights.

The above cover is really a reminder of just how far the quality of factory made rifles has come since then. That was a 500 yard world record for BR at the time. Now I can soot a group that good with a precision AR15. At the time it took a fully custom, hand made Bench Rest Quality rifle to accomplish that group.
