This is the second one of the season. Not as many as last year. Its been rough hunting in the early season hot weather. Me killing 100 of them last year probably didn’t do the population for this year many favors. I had to set by a hickory tree for an hour before this one showed up around 630PM.

Got it with the Model 31L using #6 shot.

Any tick-borne diseases like Lyme or Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever or are they just a nuisance?

You teed it up, but I’m not going to take the bait and make a blood-sucking parasite joke.

But jokes aside, Lyme is no fooling. One of my cousins got it and had to leave his lucrative consultancy because he felt like it gave him brain fog.

It’s good that you guys have avoided it this far.
