This is one of the hardest guns to find and procure— 100% stainless Colt 70 series in .45 ACP made by one of the most innovative in the business, Ned Christiansen (Michiguns). The gun was hard to find because Ned only makes a couple per year, his books are closed, his list is long, and nobody who owns one will sell one. This gun, known as “Casino” (named after its initial owner) features all of Neds way outside the box modifications, not the least of which are his pathognomonic conomyd front strap and MSH treatment. It virtually melts into the hand and it points very naturally. This gun has bounced around the 1911 community a lot since it’s inception in 2006, but if you see it for sale again on the secondary market…I’m dead.
