I do remember a helluva lot of hype about the penetration capabilities of SS109 when I was still soldiering back in the mid 80s. Someone mentioned that it would tear the shit out of the aluminium armour on am M113 APC, and I wondered how they knew that. Like, who was shooting live ammo at APCs while on exercise?
