This Colt SP901 Prototype .308 WIN upper receiver appeared in the Colt 2011 product catalog as a new item. However, this upper receiver design never went into production and I think it may be the only one of its kind.

Please note in the video that I mispoke about barrel length early in the video. Both upper receivers actually have 16″ barrels.
