Henry L Thompson was a Special Forces Officer who served in SOG and has just published part 1 of his books about his time in the war. I got it as soon as it came out. I’d been waiting on it a while since he is a “friend” on FB with me. Let me tell ya, It is worth every penny. It is the kind of book I have always wanted from one of the vets. Mr. Thompson kept detailed notes and explains in detail the guns and equipment his teams carried on missions, their effect on the enemy, and TTPs. On top of that he has sections on “lessons learned” and all manner of things. Do yourself a favor and spend 20 bucks on it.

From 1964-1972 the U.S. fought a top secret war in several countries in Southeast Asia using elite warriors “who did not exist.”
