After a promising opening weekend, I waited a week since the local temps hit 97-99 every day for a week. Then, had to have a wisdom tooth and molar in front of it cut out. A week of recovering after and I was back in the woods where I belong finally.

The pawpaw fruit is also ripe and falling. I love that stuff.

So far I am only at 13 kills. Not my usual number by this time of the year. But it has been a rough fall for me. I don’t have any desire to hit 100 again or even 50. This year I am hunting only for fun in an area other than my usual stomping grounds. Unfortunately it is about a 30 story climb to get to it. Once you get there though! Man, they are every where!
