A real classic. The Model 37 was Remington’s attempt to compete with the superior Winchester Model 52. Now, I say the Model 52 is better, and it is, nut that isn’t meant to be taken as the Model 37 is a mediocre rifle. It isn’t, it is pretty damn ed good too! It has a very vocal fan base of guys who believe (incorrectly) that is is better than a 52. If you ever see one that looks as good as this one, I’d recommend buying it.

I have never seen some one add a scope mounting target block to the holes in a rear receiver meant for a rear target iron sight.
