I hope everyone has dodged the Krampus and the Yule Cat for another year. I decided to take a break from the ammunition data dumps today to show a post-WW2 build from A.E. Berdon that recently sold online. Don’t you wish you had found this under your Christmas tree or in your stocking this morning?
Berdon received his degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 1907, and he went on to patent several electrical devices for automobiles. After he retired, Berdon decided to turn his attention towards custom gunsmithing, where he specialized in Bullseye-conversions of Colt semi-auto pistols and Smith & Wesson revolvers.
The base pistol is a 1948-vintage Colt Government Model. It wears a Micro adjustable rear sight and Lew Sanderson target stocks.
