Oh Lawdy, that’s one of those “left nut” guns.

I hope to own a Python before I die. Meantime, I’ve just bought a nice S&W Model 67 (stainless version of the 4″ Model 15 Combat Masterpiece) to go with my Model 14 and Model 19. Oh, and my other Model 67 that I turned into a 6″ heavy barrelled PPC racegun.

    I do like my S&W revolvers. 😊

It’s very difficult to judge a blueing job from a picture, especially such a poor-quality picture. The test for the Python afficionado will be “is that blueing ‘black’ or ‘blue’, and if blue, does it have the same level of polish that the original Pythons did?”

What I’m hoping here is that this isn’t just a blue job on their current production polished stainless guns.

I googled around for an MSRP (didn’t find it), but one of the SHOT Show blogs said it was carbon steel. I had wondered the same thing.

I’m not going to comment on the bluing until I have one in my hand other than: i wish the hammer sides were in the white like they did for 100 years before and I don’t care for the 3 slots on the 4″.

That said, It is good tonsee them give people what they want. Now give us a better rear site
