The pissing and moaning online has already started over the bluing of the pythons and what it actually looks like. In my experience , the better the bluing the harder it is for normal cameras to capture accurately.
It is not a black finish over stainless steal. It is not the same formula as the original. The EPA has banned the chemicals used on the originals so go ahead and get your panties all knotted up about it. Or conversely, smugly pat yourself on the back for having a reason to continue not buying one anyway.
I prefer stainless steel Pythons and Anacondas myself. And in this man’s opinion, no Colt Royal Blue python ever matched the beauty of a pre war national match 1911 anyway.

I’m not complaining. Looks lovely to me.

Well a safe queen needs to have a purty mouth but if the intent is to actually use one of these things, they’re gonna get some rash so my opinion hasn’t changed. Just shut up and take my money.

What I see there is a poor polishing job. Look at how washed out the prancing pony is.

Thant gun has God knows how many fingerprints on it.
There are pics of the new Pythons around the web. Sportsmans and Brownells had the 6″ and 4.25″ in stock and started shipping them on Wednesday. Guys already have them in hand.
The blue looks really good. As discussed before, it will never match a 60’s model Python

what you see is the light of shot show, an HD camera and a million oily fingerprints from a so -so quality picture. They look great

That Python is a beautiful weapon and I would love to own one, but they are pricey for a humble working man like myself.
If I come across some disposable income windfall money, I would buy an S&W 52, a 6″ blued Python like the one in the picture and an M1941 Johnson.
Super Lotto draw is tonight, I’ll buy my one dollar ticket this morning. If you see me posting that I just bought all three, that means I won the Super Lotto draw
