In the early days of Vietnam the US sent Special Forces/Green Berets to train locals. They often wore commercial purchased or locally made camouflage uniforms. The earliest advisors look to have used private purchased commercial pieces while later ones look to use the locally made ones. The main difference is in the cut. The later ones are a uniform pattern with two chest pockets. The web gear is basic M1956 and the boots are 2nd pattern Jungle Boots. Rifles would have been the early colt guns like the Colt 601, 602, 603 (ignore the lower, it’s what I got for now). The top is also a ROK shirt, but it’s the closest I’ve found to the period shirts in my price range so far.
