Even in the 1980s I recall how cheap WW2 and Vietnam war items were at Charlie Albert’s Army/Navy at local burg. Those days are long gone. I miss the smell of a surplus store. That smell of old OD green cotton canvas. That smell was great. Very unique. I bet at least some of you are old enough to remember that smell.
