Been a slow week. I have gotten bogged down with dumb stuff ( fixing the roof on the house) instead of focusing on what matters most. Killing squirrels. I have gotten a couple while going out for a couple hours .

To my surprise I got this one out of a Buckeye tree. Very rare this early in the year.

I had much more luck with a very early crop of ripe pawpaw fruit. Which I gorged on, naturally.

Yesterday I spent a hour in the woods and got this guy. At first I thought a pellet had taken the tail off at the halfway point. But once I looked at it I was surprised to see it was just naturally this short.
