Colt 70 series 1911 in .45 ACP by legendary Bullseye pistolsmith George Madore out of Brookhaven PA. George famously recited the mantra “test don’t guess” so his guns were renown for flawless function and supreme accuracy. This beautiful example shod in D45 “skip line” grips by Steve Herrett.
Scattered Shots 
A little finish rubbed off on the corners, a little grit and lube on the trigger where it slides back into the frame. Now there’s a gun with some honest wear on it. I like ’em like that.
