Apologies up front for those of you who don’t come here for industry news. Its that time of year again. SHOT show is about to start so that means endless press releases from companies. I can’t be at SHOT so I get the emails. Some people do actually want to see what new stuff is coming out ( more AR15s and Glock clones!!!) and so I post them. I know it gets a little tiring and boring but it is what it is.

If it makes you feel any better, the press releases of industry news generate more traffic, the irony is that from Jan- March the companies that pay out for the ads on the website pay out the least. No one advertises post Christmas cause no one has much money to spend after Christmas. So paradoxically, the peak traffic of the year for a gun website is the time of year it will make the absolute lowest amount of money via ad revenue. Think a cent or two a day. No joke, I would show you the stats if you wanted.
