Magpul is teasing the release of a new magazine in the old semi clear material. This time in a 20 rounder. I recall waaaaaaaaay back in 2009 they demoed a few clear 30 round Pmags. They never went into production. If memory serves, the reason was that the material used for the clear mags wasn’t as strong or durable as the standard black and color version. Those few sent out for demo became valuable collector’s items.

I don’t have much interest in these myself. Lancer has made a superior version for years. I don’t even own many Pmags anymore, I gave most away to friends who needed them over the years. Most of my mags are Colt and OK Industry USGI mags and Lancer AWMS.
