Before I closed up shop at LooseRounds I talked a little about this rifle. This was one of Brady’s guns he recently sold off to my best friend a few years ago. The gun was not complete as Brady had bought it only to convert it into a custom rifle. He never got around to it obviously. CJ got it and has went through all the effort to restore it to original form with the correct iron sights and sling swivels etc.

The sights on these are very nice. I wish adjustable receiver sights like this was still the norm for rifles. Those days are certainly over aren’t they..

The receiver is impressive to have been made for a .22 rimfire.

How does it shoot? Not bad. The group above was from 25 yards standing offhand. Below are five groups of 5 shots each from a bench rest and bags at 30 yards. I was going to do 50 yards but I only had 1 inch dots left and the old peepers can’t see a 1 inch dot at 50 yards anymore using irons sights.

Top two groups were fired with Eley. Bottom left was fired with an ancient box of Remington “Green Tag. Bottom right was fired with and even older box of Winchester Super X match ammo.

These are great little rifles. Nothing is as fun as a single shot drop block action when you are plinking. And while these have a stock length meant for kids(a Boy And his Rifle?) you can still use it as an adult just fine.
