1896 Colt New Police Vs. 1904; Something I Have Never Seen Before, Nelson Ford The Gunsmith Inc.

I have been through hundreds Colt double action revolvers but until cleaning this early model 1896 Colt New Police .32 I had never come across a leaf spring in the hammer and on the cylinder stop in the frame. We’ll take it apart and compare with the normal coil spring Colts with their safety system.
