In the creators own words they grew up on and were huge fans of the show “Tales of the Gun” and wanted to bring that type of show back. They did have a sister channel showing all the gunsmithing it took to restore and recreate the ammo for some of their more obscure episodes but it had to be moved to a different streaming site due to youtube being a bunch of commies essentially.
