Colt full house GCNM in .45 ACP by Ralph Gutekunst out of Cylinder and Slide in Fremont Nebraska. This gun was submitted for his admission to the APG, and with the checkered (over factory serrations) front strap, masterfully mounted Bomar (no easy task on a GCNM unless you’re Jimmy Hoag) and hard fit Barsto, the dude left nothing on the field. The amount of work that went into this gun is astounding. Now that Cylinder and Slide is defunct, I wonder where all these talented pistolsmiths ended up? This pony is shod in Cocobolo double diamond stocks by Craig Spegel…because the gun deserves no less.
