From 1911_purview

Colt 70 series 1911 in 45 ACP by Jeremy Reid. My Reid quest reads like Goldilocks and the three bears. My first Reid was incredible, but it was a gold Springfield…sold it. The second Reid was a beautiful stainless Colt, but frag front strap, only if it’s Ned…sold it. But this one, this one is a checkered Colt in 45 ACP. Just right. If you see this gun for sale again on the secondary market, I’m dead. What can be said about Reid as a gunsmith? Well, I have a proclivity for flowery prose when it comes to describing guns that move me, but I’m going to say this in plain talk. This kid ain’t fucking around. Like at all.
