Korth Combat Model in .357 Magnum with fitted a 9mm extra cylinder, made 1986 in West Germany. The original company was founded in 1954 by Willie Korth and became widely heralded for their precision engineering, meticulous hand fitting, accuracy and finish. The cylinder latch it unique (next to the hammer) and the yoke release to change cylinders is a push button. Willie retired in 1982 then faced bankruptcy in 1999 until in 2009 Martin Rothman bought the company. In my opinion, Korth took a huge nosedive in quality after that.
I know a guy who shoots a Korth. Undoubtedly the finest revolver I’ve ever handled. It was like a big blue piece of jewellery. The price tag was what you’d expect.

You know, I have never seen one with my own eyes.

Me neither. You could buy three or four nice Smiths for that kinda money and it’s hard for me to believe they’re that much better. It would be interesting to learn what Nelson Ford thinks about them.
