Robert Duvall, the Oscar-winning actor whose career spanned seven decades, has died at age 95.
His wife, Luciana Duvall, confirmed Robert died on Sunday.
“Yesterday we said goodbye to my beloved husband, cherished friend, and one of the greatest actors of our time,” Luciana wrote on Facebook Monday, adding that Robert “passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love and comfort.”
Well, one of the greatest actors who stared in some of the greatest movies of all time has died. Absolutely iconic. We are all diminished.
From Boo Radley to Ned Pepper to Bluebonnet Spearman to Martin Cash, and so many more, he was a brilliant actor! May he rest easy.
