I had to walk outside to put this beautiful 1911 in the sun for you fellas. I bought this Colt, chambered in .45 ACP, from a cop buddy of mine. He had it built by Marine Corp veteran Nick Wasley (Valor Precision) out of Montville Ohio. It started life as a “budget build” so I sent it back to Nick and said finish the gun. He checkered it, changed the sights, did some accuracy work, and added some personal touches that I like…and now it’s my gun. Wasley, who was a Precision Weapons Technician in Quantico Virginia, specializes in crafting the legendary USMC MEU(SOC) —sidearms made for men who clear buildings in Afghanistan.
