I went yesterday evening on a whim. Temp was cool after an all day rain and the sun was just breaking through the clouds. Perfect weather for sqwacks I thought. I was right. I hit 72 kills for the season and killed the daily limit.

I got all six of these out of the same beech tree. I worked them for about 30 minutes taking them one at a time with my old trust 16 gauge. If you get more than one in a tree you can just about be as noisy as you want. They always assume the noise is coming from one of the other squirrels.

Skinning the things is turning into a real chore.

This guy watched me the entire time.
