For “.38 Super Saturday,” we have a former member of Pistol_Purview’s pistol collection. This one is a Clark Custom Guns “Pin Master” conversion from the mid/late-1980s. The Pin Master was a variation of the original Clark Bowling Pin Gun muzzle weight that was carved out with a 45-degree expansion chamber compensator. It resembled the muzzle brakes Clark first made in the 1950s for his Ruger Standard .22 builds for Bullseye competition. The Pin Master could be had in half-profile (shown here) and full-profile versions. It was ultimately replaced by the two-chamber “Recoil Master” compensator. Besides the Tiger Tooth stippling, note the weighted Breskovich Advantage Grip System stocks. The steel panels served double duty as a crude magazine funnel.
