This week’s discussion is the family favourite, The Human Centipede (2009). The basic story is:

“A mad scientist kidnaps and mutilates a trio of tourists in order to reassemble them into a human centipede, created by stitching their mouths to each others’ rectums.”

If you love movies, you must have heard of this. It is one of the most controversial movies ever made and even generated two sequels, which were just as bad and also discussed here.

How did someone come up with this idea? And how did they get it made? The movie itself is a good production, well shot and directed with good acting. Well, as good as acting can be while your mouth is strapped up to someone else’s ass, all of the cast are good and, unfortunately, believable.
