I don’t like the speed laces because I am a purist. But I am happy to see jungle boots coming back in close to their original form and from an original maker. Yes, Altama still supposedly makes the original style. Sometimes… Try finding a pair in OD green though. And Altama gave up on making them in the USA long, long ago.
New ones are still Panama sole unfortunately but we take what we can get don’t we.
