We share a lot of photos of the guns that pass through Karl Beining’s (KGB Customs) shop inventory. Today, we’ll share a photo of Karl himself in honor of a momentous occasion.

The American Pistolsmith Guild (APG) held their annual banquet last week. There were four nominees this year for full membership. Applicants have their reputation, business practices, and samples of work examined by a standing committee comprised of voting members of the guild.

Sponsored by pistolsmith Ted Yost, Karl was formally accepted as a fully accredited member of the guild. Karl and Ted can be seen here holding one of the two custom pistols that Karl had submitted for approval.

To top things off, Ted was also honored by receiving the title “Pistolsmith of the Year – 2022.”
