Today’s pictures don’t come from Karl, they come from friend Walter.
A martially marked Colt M1860, made in 1863. This one still has a good deal of rifling left, and even traces of the cylinder engraving. Lock up and timing are excellent. The slot for the wedge has been cut, so it allows a little bit of play in the barrel. I plan on welding that up and recutting it to the correct size. I may take it out and test fire it before I fix that though.
