My buddy stole this Swenson online and asked me to “help” it a little. After ultrasonic we scrubbed the dead skin and oil out of the 40 year old hard chrome, took out a few micro scratches with Scotch Brite, took off the new Hogues and replaced them with period correct D45 skip line Herrets, new arched hard chrome MSH (because the flat blue checkered one was not correct), re-blued the slide —> and voila! This thing was a late build as evidenced by the Barsto barrel and Swensight which came out in 84. My other buddy, who is a Swenson expert, says no two Swensons are the same. I’ve never seen one like this. Congrats @rexnorthen —it’s in the air bruh.
