    $130.00 seems very reasonable!

  3. COtt says:

1300.00!!! what. the. f#$%. You can buy a complete Colt rifle for that. PT Barnum was right…

    1. COtt says:

LOL…two Colt fanatics (I’m assuming) have at least purchased and given postive reviews.

      1. COtt says:

In 2017 dollars as well! No recent reviews. Guess that says something…

  4. John M. says:

How does it fire when folded? That’s quite a trick.

    1. Shawn says:

it has a reduced length BCG and some other trick parts

    2. Rocketguy says:

It appears to be very similar to the Deadfoot Arms system I’m tinkering with. The modified BCG and stubby buffer keep all the action ahead of the folding joint.

The one I have seems to work well for standard applications but is finicky when you stubbornly try to make it work with something more oddball…like combining with an adjustable gas block and trying to find a sweet spot that works with sub and super 300 BO. Only a crazy person would try that…

      1. John M. says:

I dunno, man. In my opinion if you need a folder, the rifle you are looking for starts with “AK”, not “AR”, but you know what they say about opinions.

        1. Rocketguy says:

          You’re not wrong

        2. Matt says:

          Or a BRN18 or a Sig upper

That said ir would be cool to have one, though $1300 is far more than I can spend.
