If you look around the internet, you will see many CZ firearms being sold at a pretty good discount. The discounts range from a couple of hundred dollars off to as much as a $1000 off some of CZ’s higher dollar offerings.

As a result of these current discounts and the need of a P-10F for a professional project, I purchased a CZ P-10F Optics Ready Law Enforcement version from Arms Unlimited in Las Vegas, NV. The difference between an LE model and a standard retail model is that the LE model comes with three high-capacity magazines.

I spent a short period of time at the range today and put 400 rounds of 9mm through the CZ P-10F OR LE. The ammunition used was Remington 9mm 115gr ball and Winchester 9mm 115gr ball.

The three factory magazines were 19-round capacity. They were a challenge to get loaded initially but after a few full loadings, each magazine became easier to load. The magazines fed rounds with zero issues. Magazine fit is rock solid but still easily drop free when the magazine release is pushed.

Extraction was flawless and uniform to about the 3 o’ clock to 4 o’ clock position. The slide cycles smoothly and the trigger breaks consistently at an average 5.3 to 5.8 lbs. Although I’m only 400 rounds into it, this is a great shooting pistol. It is much more enjoyable to shoot than my Glock 19.

I need to figure out which pistol optic I’m going to put on it. The product selection has exploded and it is tough to choose one. I’m looking hard at Trijicon, Leupold and many have recommended Holosun.

I’m looking forward to putting many more rounds through this pistol in the coming weeks.

I will do another post soon with a detailed look at the CZ P-10F OR LE itself.

That big foresight looks like a bit of a snag risk to me. Are you gonna leave the irons on as backup when you place the optic?

I will leave the iron sights on the pistol after I get an optic mounted. I will not be trying to use it as a CCW at all.
