Got an email from CMP on Thursday announcing Round 4 is now open for submittals and that previous 1911 recipients can now submit for a second pistol. Which I did, yesterday and hoping one of this grade is available when & if my number is drawn. The rack grade 1911A1 they sent me from the first round turned out to be mostly all Colt that had not been stamped as reworked. A good bit of wear a.k.a. “character” and I was well pleased with it.
