At first blush folks see a heavily modified Smith 41 finished in Hardchrome and assume it a Bob Loveless, but Vern Ewer at Spokhandguns in Washington was doing more exotic and IMO, cleaner work to the guns.
This rig is everything a guy could want in a 22 autoloader circa 1982, a ~7″ barrel with permanently affixed scope rings holding a Leupold 2X scope, perfect for precision work and distance work. Then there’s the lighter weight 5″ barrel for hiking around with it on yer hip. This gun gets my blood pumping, with the level and quantity of work done to expose and ‘dress’ the Model 41 hammer, to the slide stop and Thumb safety mods, nicely squared and serrated trigger guard, the lightening work done to the barrels to get the balance point just so…- Karl KGBcustoms

I’m not so sure about how the safety works or the look of the modifications to the slide and exposed hammer. I’d have to get hands on to say for sure but on the other hand, if Karl think’s it’s good, maybe so.
