My Vietnam war issue ruck is complete but with time the straps get pretty stiff and hard. Not much good. You can’t tighten them down, you can loosen them in the buckles, they aren’t very useful. Why would it matter? Because I believe in getting rare militaria and using it up that way when I die some dweeb doesn’t get it and enjoy it more! Just kidding( not really).

I found these guys on ebay, paratroop1968, that make repro straps and parts for the old ruck. They use the same material, threading etc. You can’t tell them from the original stuff.
