That’s a beautiful piece, but to my eye it’s a little unbalanced looking. I think that a Python or Smith 586/686 sized gun needs a 4″ barrel minimum to look “right”.

Im with you , I like a longer barrel than those short ones. I also think a python needs a thicker bigger grip to look right
