The little Detontics has the novel idea of the rear sight being moved forward so the thumb could sweep back during the draw and cock the hammer. A dumb idea in theory and in practice. All 1911s should be carried in the condition one, cocked and locked at all times. However, it does not hurt the cool factor of the gun one iota.
