It has been a great season. Not the best year I’ve had but pretty good, and a lot of fun. Those above made 50 for the season. I am thinking I may just close the season down with 50 this year. Not need to be greedy. The nice weather, the orange and yellow trees and blue sky makes it hard to stay out of the woods though.

Unlike past years, I used nothing but the 16 gauges this time. They are such a pleasure. I have no idea why they aren’t the most popular shotgun chambering. The fox squirrel made 6 for the year. That’s the most I’ve ever gotten in a season, Six is a daily bag limit. I feel that is an accomplishment for these parts.
