He probably cuffed the dude automatically and then realized how Effing dumb that was with nowhere to take him and no way to get there.
So he made the best of a bad situation and killed him cleanly.

I’ve watched the video of the guy in the ball cap shooting the guy who sexually molested his son well over a hundred times.
Each time I watch it, I cheer him on and raise my glass.
I have two sons and a daughter, and as of a few weeks ago a grandson. I hope…No…I know in my heart that under the same circumstances I would do the same thing.
I have no doubt. Anybody who wants to harm my sons, my daughter or her little baby boy really would have to go through me first. And I may be old, but I’m still good.
