Everything the troops are complaining about was predicted to happen as soon as the XM7 and the new service round was developed how many years ago now? Early wear, too heavy, not enough ammo, laughable accuracy, guys wanting their M4s back, Ukrainian war showing modern war rendered its justification moot etc etc.
