A little update on how its going. It’s been a challenge so far this year. At first the extreme heat made them eat before dawn and well after sunset (when you can’t hunt) and then the drop to cooler temps has made it so windy its impossible to hear or spot them until you are so close to them that they see you first.
The pawpaws are huge and ripe now though.
I did get my new glasses though for the first since 2011. Didn’t realize how much I needed an updated prescription.

I got 4 today. I would have never seen them with the old glasses.

You running bifocals yet? I’m about your age and thinking I don’t need them this year, but it’s close. It’s close.

No. Doc told me I was right on the line of he could give them to me or not depending on what I thought. I opted not to get them as its not really problem for me. seeing anything at distance was always my problem
