Absolutely gorgeous Colt 70 series 1911 in .45 ACP by Tim Brian aka CT Brian. His aesthetic is classic meets contemporary, but unlike many smiths who emulate others, his style is quintessentially his and his alone. You never see a picture of a CT Brian and think “gee I wonder who made that?” When you know, you know, and if you don’t know, now you know. Tim’s build board is forever closed, because last year he left us for a better world…and we are diminished. I hope this American art form never dies, because like jazz, it is ours and ours alone. I’m a very busy man, so believe me when I say I have better things to do, but this IG Page is dedicated to that hope. Younger generation, sell your cobbled together AR15, your S&W revolver with a lawyer lock, and 2 pedestrian Glocks, and pick up the phone to order a custom 1911. It will be 1 of 1, last you a lifetime, and your kids will thank you.
That’s a very purposeful looking piece. A lot of custom guns look a little arty to my eyes. That piece looks beautiful, but it also looks like a gun that a man would use to defend himself with.
Just superb.
