Pistol_purview 1978 70 series Colt in .45 ACP by Russ Carniak out of a shop called “The Acurizer” in Troy Michigan. Carniak was a civil engineer turned custom 1911 pistolsmith. Carniak’s father was a machinist in Detroit, so he grew up around this work. I guess it’s in the blood as they say because his daughter Marianne Carniak continues to carry the family torch as a highly regarded pistolsmith with a very long wait list.
