From 1911 Purview

Up next is a 1982 GCNM made by the late great Jackie Best. Jack was active primarily from the 1960s & 1970s through the early 1990s. He predominantly built guns for military shooters (Army Marksmanship Unit competitors at Fort Benning) and civilian bullseye enthusiasts. His builds are prized for reliability, accuracy, and shootability. The barrel is dated 1982. Jack sadly passed away from cancer in the early 1990’s– builders and shooters please check your lead levels. Every single day of my life somebody messages me and asks me if so-and-so is available. The answer is no. Nothing I post is “available.” But if it is a Jackie Best gun you desire, go online to KGB Customs. There is one Jacks guns there right there and it is an absolute prize. For the record, I stole this entire post from that advertisement. Grips are by Lou Sanderson, and they are flawless.
