1971 Colt in .45 ACP inscribed “Akuriz by Wilson.” The smith’s initials were T.W. and his shop was in Dallas TX. The gun tells us that much. I believe this BE gun was made by Tom Wilson, who manufactured a sear jig around the same time? Grips were unmistakably handcrafted by the venerable Lew Sanderson
