It’s kind of amazing how not-fun it is to be around people who are unsafe with guns. On two recent trips to two different ranges I have felt the need to speak sharply to people who were pointing guns in my (and in one case my children’s!) direction.
Neither incident resulted in this kind of thing, mercifully.
I shoot my handguns on a private range and my rifles on a public range. Never a problem at the private range in 25 years. At the public range my head is on a swivel. Stupid shit there isn’t all that common, but it happens occasionally, and you only need to be shot once.
