Travis R. Strahan (1930–2018) was one of the great innovators of American pistolsmithing. A career Army soldier and Vietnam veteran, Strahan built match pistols at Fort Benning and traveled with the U.S. All Army Pistol Team before establishing Strahan & Son in Ringgold, Georgia. A charter member of the American Pistolsmiths Guild, he became renowned for extraordinarily accurate 1911s & PPC revolvers, his Mascot sights and the patented Accu-Lock barrel system. This gun is tight and right–now beautiful again with a quality re-rusting and shod in period correct Goncalo Alves grips by David Wayland.
