“Full house” build in .45 ACP by Bob Marvel. Bob’s avant-garde aesthetic is polarizing —you either love pinstripes on a 1911 or you hate them. There is no in between. Bob contracts with Nighthawk to build a model licensed under his name, but I have no desire to own a Nighthawk Marvel, no more than I want a Nighthawk Heinie. Bob now teaches 1911 classes, so the gunsmith has turned professor, with the most notable of his protégés being Joe Chambers out of the Huskerplex. If you swipe left you can see the VZ grips this gun came with…but daddy don’t VZ. This gun is now properly shod weirdo grips (by Joel Will) for a weirdo gun.
